i had a whole bunch of adidas original pairs when i was a kid,

but i've outgrown them. buying some new, squeaky-clean ones from the adidas website (hey, it's summer of '90s nostalgia after all, right?), but i can't decide between black+white or white+blue.

gahhh okay so i haven't been on the internet or computers for a few weeks. 

in that time, i have

a) got a new (and ADORABLE) bike for my birthday.. it's a lot tougher than it looks

b) recieved my first ever paycheck

c) gone back to live at my dad's (for one day)

d) been to l.a., saw an angels game, went shopping and returned back to big d.

the fall collections have started popping up in the magazines lately, and i've been seeing prada and marc jacobs literally everywhere. oh, and givenchy. but rightfully so- those collections are worthy of the editorial attention anyways

miuccia is taking it back a few decades for miu miu's fall 2011 collection...
out with the neon stars, the huge metal flowers, and the kitten prints that dominated past dresses this season; in with calf-lengths, coin purses and jackets. 

it seems almost like the miu miu girl is taking a style lesson by dressing up in mommy's clothes.

don't worry, the glitter and the bows that covered the shoes prove that the miu miu girl isn't ready to grow up completely yet

Also (as if youve been living under a rock for the past couple weeks and need an update), little hailee steinfeld is starring in this season's campaign! YAY.

2am, summer night

i hate being in cars but i think spending late nights driving absolutely effing nowhere in the pickup truck with my friends have been some of the best times i've had this summer
